Krieg Der Sterne Panorama Builder (Tattooine)

 

Pictured is a "Krieg Der Sterne" (Star Wars) Panorama Builder. Produced in Germany around 1978, these were more than likely sold in Novelty Stores. The set features "VERKAUF AUF TATTOOINE" or Sale on Tattooine. Stickers would be peeled off and applied or rubbed down on the background to create the diorama around the Sandcrawler

Here is a picture of the back, featuring Jawas, C3PO, R2D2, Luke Skywalker and Uncle Owen. The other sets in the series, totaling ten are listed on the back. I recently became aware of these and managed to score one of the two sets featuring Jawas. The set is still sealed and is a nice addition to my "ongoing" and never-ending Jawa run.
