Produced in 1982 and part of the Death Star
World Playset, one figure is painted similar to the Production version. The
other one is unpainted. The unpainted figure is considered a First Shot or
overstock figure that were never used prior to the cancellation of the line in
1983.
Here is a picture of the bottom of the base or feet. The unpainted figure contains copyright information (LFL 82 and 517 015).
However, the font and placement of the information is smaller than the
Production version. Also, the base on the Production version is slightly
larger. This is a notable addition to my ongoing pursuit of Pre-Production items for the First 21 figures.
