Welcome to my little slice of internet heaven. This site showcases some of the coolest Jawa collectibles from my personal collection (unless noted). Also, I have included links to some of my favorite websites, which feature other outstanding collections as well. Thank you for visiting MADBROWNZ and enjoy the "Jawa experience."

Japanese (Takara) Keshi Rubber Jawas

Pictured are Keshi Rubber Jawas produced by the Japanese Company Takara in the late 1970's or early 1980's. These Jawas were produced in at least nine different colors; Green, Yellow, Black, Blue, Orange, Red, White, Translucent Blue and Translucent Green. They are made of rubber and are flexible enough to be squeezed in ones hand.

Here is a picture of the back of the Jawas. They were distributed/sold in vending machines and came carded with other rubber figures. The letters GMFGI are stamped on the back of each figure and measure 1" tall. I only recently became aware of the figures existence at Celebration VI and have been fortunate enough to track down the Green, Yellow and Orange versions. They are also pictured on a Traditional Japanese Box that the seller had been gracious enough to send me when I recently purchased the Yellow one. My hunt continues for the other six.
